11 in. x 14 in. Poster

Hand-printed on Wisconsin-made Strathmore paper using hand-carved linoleum block.

Milwaukee, comes from the Algonquian word Millioke loosely meaning The Good Land, or Gathering Place by the Water.  The People's Flag of Milwaukee represents the sun rising over Lake Michigan, the three rivers (Milwaukee, Menomonee and Kinnickinnic) and the three colonizing founders (Juneau, Kilbourn and Walker).
